Ya Carly!

Carly did an interview for Heart of Hills, which is a blog run by two lovely ladies out of Germany.

She's a hero to animals and people alike it seems. I'd really like another scratch behind the ears right about meow though.

One cold weekend

The temperatures have dropped below freezing, which is quite unusual for Vancouver in November. The staff and team seem to enjoy this snow stuff, but this kitty wants summer back Meow! Phillip really got around this weekend. Skiing Whistler with Blake and Marlowe on Saturday...

... and touring to the top of Mount Seymour with Jess and Liam on Sunday.

The Colombian Connection... Hugh updates us...

Team riders Dillon and Hugh owned Colombia this past weekend with Dillon taking 1st and Hugh taking 3rd.  Fellow Canadian Patrick Switzer finished off the canadian sweep in second.  Check out what Hugh had to say over Facebook with team manager Blake...

(Blake) Hows the skateing been?
(Hugh) Pavement here is really sticky, not the best for free-riding
but the city was built randomly with no plans so the roads just go fu*king all over the place, twisty turny drops like nothing ive seen before the whole thing has been a very seminal experience the potential here is amazing but its only this one kid who is fully realizing it, child leading the masses
well hopefully you two being there will change that
or at least that was our plan
we’re working on it
perfect
i wish we had more shwag left so we could have a slope style or something
prototype wheels SICK AS FU*K
like no other
glad to hear they do need to come home with you though
im coring these f**kers on this trip
hey you should take this chat conversation and make it a blog post, steal some pictures from fb as well

Justin Ortiz is so...

... Gangster?

Brad Da Silva wrote this about him.
So i know this 'Pirate of the Pavement" and we call him 'Justin Ortiz"
Shredding mad gnar, doing so with mad steeze Somebody walks up and goes "Man ill kick your ass, serve ya up on a plate!"
Then Justin replies "Yo bro, Settle this on the road and ill teach you to skate!"
Some slay in the kitchen, in the water, this case the land If you ever need some help, any boarder would glady lend a hand Now you might fall down, get a scrape, but skating means some pain If you dont know where to start, id go to landyachtz or rayne Or check justin, with his videos, skating and some samarai swords With this kiind of entertainment, man nobody would get bored Put it real simple, this bro slays at skating, a super rad dude With a helmet gloves and pads and half covered in tattoo's So my homie, i say keep doing you, and dont change a thing And while you continue skating ill continue to sing!

Trains, Planes and Automobiles

Happy Guy Fawkes day?

Hopes and dreams coming to fruition.

2 countries down... 2 ta go. It seems like Dhillon and Hugh are enjoying their adventure. Not sending us quite the pictures that we'd expected... but that's a real nice hat Dave Angeles is wearing meow. Fortunatly I found this photo on Downhill Peru or Die's blog.

Hugh also sent us this short little rant. "we bomb'd through an army base in the desert today. THROUGH TORNADOS at 90 km/h getting pushed one way, then total calm then pushed the other all crazy like nothing i have ever done before. our last day in peru before we head to brazil. miss all of yall."

For the love of it

Andi over at Axess 33 in Cambridge Ontario enjoyed the PEC Gravity Fest a couple of weeks ago. Rain was unable to take away from her fun, and the event went off spectacularly.

Reduce and reuse...

... some of the guys here at the factory had fun constructing their Halloween costumes out of scrap cardboard. This seems like a better alternative to buying a cheap costume that you'll only wear once. You can then recycle your planes, trains, and automobiles when you're done.

This is why i love Vancouver

Thanks to the Ontario Longboarding forum for finding and posting this Gem.

New Dog...

... same old tricks. Now that Enzo is part of our devious plan to let all the secrets out of the bag, we're sure to be saddled with much success. Maybe because he's the size of a horse, perhaps due to the fact that he sleeps in Tom's office. Either way, I'm excited for some new perspective... even if he is a dog.
