Special Lunches...

We work really hard over here at Landyachtz and it's nice to go for a good home cooked vegetarian lunch every now and again. One of our favorite spots is Deserts on Commercial Drive. Momma Deserts works so hard too keeps us healthy and full with her daily chefs specials and delicious samosas. The Chef special changes daily and comes with rice, three different vegetarian curries and a side of naan bread. My personal favorite are the samosas with added creamy sauce. We go here two or three times a week...its that good! Pop on by for a great affordable lunch that is always served with a smile. Thanks Momma for the many great meals.

Today is a good day for Mike McGoldrick...

His brand new board, the 9 Two 5, was released this afternoon and it looks sicker than ever. Here we see Mike getting handed his vary own foam core version of the board...Cheers Mike!

Honey I shrunk the Evo

This Evo found its way into our inbox earlier and we where amazed by it. It's so small it fit right in the internet and made it's way through cyber space, all the way from Russia to our inbox. A perfectly scaled down version of a complete Evo, never seen anything like this before!

This dog seems to be more evolved then I ever imagined possible. Her table manners are also questionable.

Pilsner/Landyachtz Stouts ohh so nice. Look for these boards at your local liquor store and select pubs that serve up pilsner. These are super limited so if you have the chance to win one jump on it. Please ride responsibly.

Sweep Sweep Sweep

Looks like Larry is training for the Olympic curling team. Sweeping off the CNC table in the wood shop is something that he prides himself in. Looks like some familier giant letters where being cut out. What are those going to be used for?

I heard a rumor that Hugh will be back on the 15th of March. But rumors are rumors and who knows if they're true.

Special Commemerative fair weather sporting event wheels!!!!!!

These are gonna roll off the shelves quicker than the melting snow on Cypress. So pick up your very own set of these bad boys while you can....my guess is they will not last long.

The Olympic torch runs by Landyachtz!!!

This morning was an exciting one at the shop. We found out that the Olympic torch would be passing by the Landyachtz Factory. We all grabbed boards and skated to the corner in order to observe this uniquely shaped flame pass by. Security was tight and corporate sponsorship was everywhere. The torch passed, people cheered, Canadian spirits where high. The city is buzzing so make sure to check back often to see Olympic updates through the eyes of local skaters living in this crazy city.

New Multi Coloured wheels?

What kind of mischief and mayhem could come from these wheels...wow those colours look really familiar. I've been seeing them all over Vancouver in these interlocking ring formations while i'm out for walks with my best friend. The city is busy...i wonder whats going on?

This is a shout out to Unkle.ca for everything you've been doing to keep this kitty up to date on the happenings around the world. I don't like to leave the comfort of the seconds shop very often, so it's nice to see video's like THIS! Thanks Andrew for proving once again that qualifying is for sucka's and chumps.

Nothing beats a good old fashioned movie premiere. We are really pumped on this movie and the premiere is going to be an event to remember.
