DAY 2. More frothing at Mungamuka
G
what a sleep. I think I can speak for the tribe and say that we all
slept pretty damn well. Late night games of dice and a mountain of food
would suggest that anyhow! Had the hell sleep in and I think for good
reason. There had been some early morning rain and the roads outside
were a little wet. the sky had that 'morning sickness' look to it. Time
to lurk and chill and word is me homie Cam is feelin a little under the
weather. Poor fella threw chunks even before we had hit town for
breaky.

Time
we had a feed and got to the hill. The sun had some serious punch! While the weather
and road had taken a turn for the good, Cam had hit a wall. Looked like death had
been ran over by a logging truck. Heavy bra! While we hit the hill, Cam
laid at the top. Not much else he coulda done.
Things
got wild on the first run. I guess peeps where stoked!! Yew. A tail
wind had offered us a lot more speed than last year and this morning it
was blowin real nice. I was lurking at the back and just getting a good
feel for the day, then I feel spits of rain. I looked forward and crew
where bunched. It was looking good. Chad felt the spits as well and was
chillin and his board drifted a little in one of the early rights. Bondy
was just in behind and come a gutsa as things got tight. BONDY! All
good. Chill. Stop make sure the bearded man was ok and get on with it.
I was listening to some dope beats to the tune of "Deadbolt". To
those that haven't heard its best described as evil surf style tunes.
Perfect for getting pitted and hitting features! We took Cam home when we
went for lunch and left him to sleep for the day and get better for the
rest of the tour!
The
caravan park we're stayin at is dope. The rooms are comfy. The showers
are rad. Theres a big common room with a hell ghetto ping pong table
that offers some different results. Some for. Some against. Theres a
tonne of natural wood used in the construction and it seems its a pretty
fun place to spend some time. Great hook up speedy.

Swim
down the surf, a few beers, gathering of fresh Pippies for entree and
back to park for home made burgers and the days looking set to wind
down!
