Saltspring Slopestyle

I have been following a very interesting blog as of late...Moustache Ridez... and yes dogs do follow blogs. This article is a great one, I found my stub of a tail began wagging uncontrollably as I read on.

After the Salt Spring Slasher attacked earlier this summer, the Coast Longboarding army decided to make their presence know on this tiny island in an attempt to ward off any future attacks. After practicing our touch-and-go's on Juniper (the race course from earlier in the summer). We partied and camped at an undisclosed location. Under starry skies we consumed many beverages. Fortunately Ladner Division showed up before our rations ran dry and the party continued late into the night.

The following morning we rendezvoused at Salt Spring Island coffee shop, and their peppermint tea did wonders to calm the stomachs of all those who over indulged the night before. After replenishing our rations we began our convoy to spot number one and two. Style was thrown down by all participants, and rivaled only by the amount of urethane spent over the course of the day. Bombs were dropped on the private residents at the top of Musgrave, which were met with little opposition (only one axe wielding resident, and another who was shocked that we disobeyed her orders to cease and desist). After this small incursion, the slopesyle continued. Spot three and four were shredded a new one, and when the dust settled... Dylan and Travis, of Summerland division walked away with the Outlaw key. Day done, battle won. Over and out.

Thanks to Unkle Lee for the pics and incredible scratches behind my ears. Woof Woof
